As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate Senior Video Producer to join our in-house content team and help define and elevate our visual brand voice across all channels.
Position Summary
The Sr. Video Producer will be responsible for creating compelling video content that enhances Aventon’s brand presence across multiple platforms. You will conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging video narratives that highlight product features, lifestyle applications, customer stories, and brand campaigns.
This is a hands-on, on-site role based at Aventon HQ in Brea, CA, with frequent travel required for on-location shoots, brand activations, and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for use across digital campaigns, social media, YouTube, website, and retail displays.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Product teams to tell stories that bring the Aventon lifestyle and product features to life.
- Operate a variety of cameras, lighting setups, gimbals, and drones to capture cinematic footage both in-studio and on-location.
- Produce a range of content including product videos, rider profiles, tutorials, event coverage, and brand campaigns.
- Lead pre-production including scripting, storyboarding, shot list creation, location scouting, scheduling, and crew management.
- Maintain alignment with brand identity across tone, style, and visual standards.
- Ensure proper asset management, post-production workflows, and delivery timelines.
- Travel frequently to support campaign shoots, field content, and on-site activations.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in video production, preferably in brand or lifestyle content
- Strong portfolio of product, campaign, and storytelling work
- Advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong knowledge of camera systems (Sony FX preferred), lighting, drones (DJI Air 3), and scene composition
- FAA Part 107 certification preferred
- Experience with scripting, budgeting, and managing production timelines
- Familiarity with file formats, NAS systems, codecs, and multi-cam setups
- Deep understanding of platform-optimized content (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently and work outside of standard hours as needed
Work & Physical Environment
- This role is based on-site at Aventon HQ in Brea, CA, with frequent travel to various indoor and outdoor filming locations.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, and carry equipment weighing up to 200 lbs with assistance.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including urban streets, trails, warehouses, and event venues.
- May involve working in varying weather conditions during shoots (heat, cold, rain, wind).
- Requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on shoot schedules.
- Use of drones, ladders, or elevated equipment may be required for specific projects.
- Must be comfortable driving or traveling with gear to locations, including transporting and setting up production kits.
