  • Global Solution Architecture Training: Build & deliver technical trainings & workshops for all Global Megaport Solution Architects, ensuring accurate content in collaboration with product and product marketing.

  • Product & Engineering Roadmap Alignment: Work directly with the Product managers and Engineering teams to stay ahead of upcoming product releases, test early feature builds, and ensure technical enablement materials are complete before the release. Leveraging product marketing and enablement teams to distribute.

  • Architecture Diagrams & Visuals: Build clean, highly detailed, and professional architecture flows and design patterns using tools like Figma, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.

  • "Better Together" Reference Designs: Build production ready reference architectures, Terraform, and API scripts showing how Compute, Network, and Storage connect seamlessly.

  • Owns Technical Source of Truth: Serve as the accountable owner for deep technical content requests from GTM leadership and field teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Hands-on Demos & Labs: Build interactive sandbox environments, demo scripts, and lab guides for Solution Architects to use, learn & demo in complex customer deals.

  • GTM Strategy & Deal Feedback: Convert deal insights and win/loss data into actionable GTM strategy and concrete product feature requests for Engineering and Product teams.

  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, solution briefs, and technical deep dives

What We Are Looking For

  • Senior Technical Background: 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Strategist in networking, storage and bare metal platforms.

  • High Attention to Detail: Obsessive focus on technical accuracy, clean layout, and clear formatting in every diagram, whitepaper, and lab guide.

  • Diagramming & Visual Tool Skills: Proven capability using Figma, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or equivalent tools to design clear, customer facing technical diagrams.

  • Core Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (BGP, IP routing, firewalls) and bare-metal server infrastructure.

  • Hands-on Capability: Strong experience working with APIs, infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible), and setting up live lab environments.

  • Simple & Clear Communication: Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into direct, plain language for sellers and enterprise buyers.

  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides

  • You can work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
