Job Summary

This position, reporting to the Cost Principal within the Program Planning and Control team, requires an undergraduate degree and over 4 years of experience. The role involves performing assignments under general and occasional direct supervision, utilizing standard concepts within project controls for preliminary or definitive estimates. The individual will analyze project and financial information, ensuring accurate and timely completion of internal and external reporting requirements. They will confirm the accuracy of obligated costs, review and approve purchase requisitions, and evaluate labor and non-labor related project costs weekly. This position offers the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of various projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls.
  • Analyze possible solutions using standard methods and complete detailed analysis of project and financial information.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of required internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Confirm the accuracy of obligated costs to projects.
  • Review, code, and approve purchase requisitions.
  • Conduct weekly evaluation and validation of labor and non-labor related project costs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related business discipline, or 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Cost Point, Cognos, OnBase, Deltek, and WorkDay or similar softwares and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working on the LOGCAP Program.

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
