This is a key role within Logistics Finance for DACH. The Senior Analyst needs to ensure key processes are managed in a timely and effective manner, working with the Centre of Excellence and with the DACH BU controller to deliver auditable and accurate processes and results for the German (DE) business. Additionally, the Senior Analyst is expected to play a leading role in coordinating Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) finance reporting processes across the DACH CS&L finance team (including offsite finance team) and in updating / the usage of SAC (SAP analytics cloud).
How you will contribute
Main focus of the role is to take full responsibility of the DE CS&L Shipping P&L lines (Inbound, Outbound and Warehousing), to ensure that cost targets are achieved and to deliver the productivity agenda. This requires a thorough analysis of Actual results, a preparation of accurate and timely financial budgets/forecasts as well as tracking and reporting of gross productivity savings.
Key responsibilities to ensure targets are delivered include:

• Demonstrate high finance acumen, data consistency and transparency
• Engage with business partner local operational teams, provide best in class finance support through excellent analysis, reporting and challenge
• Take responsibility for protecting the assets of the business through compliance to accounting principles, policies and internal controls
• Be able to work in detail and summarize / simplify the key take-outs and act in reverse
• Work autonomously

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

• University degree or equivalent e.g. in Finance
• Prior FMCG experience
• 3-5 years FP&A/accounting experience
• Prior Finance Supply Chain experience preferred
• Strong analytical background
• Fluent spoken / written English & German
• Prior exposure with Shared Service Centre would be an asset
