The Impact You'll Make in This Role:
As a Senior Software Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable specifications for our Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams. You will be a key decision maker for managing scope and creating optimal solutions based on the platform strategy and priorities.
As a Sr Software Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define scope and associated effort of proposed features.
- Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional solutioning sessions.
- Translate business requirements into user stories ensuring clarity, accuracy, and testability.
- Facilitate user story grooming sessions with UX Designers, Developers and QA Analysts to refine articulation of acceptance criteria and technical requirements.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure mutual understanding and successful feature delivery.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, while working to mitigate them.
- Participate in continuously evaluating and improving internal processes and methods.
- Develop a deep understanding of the application components and become a subject matter expert on the features and workflows.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with ten or more years of experience as a Software Business Analyst working on customer-facing web-based software
AND
Experience working in an Agile methodology like Scrum.
Additional qualifications that would help you succeed in this role include:
- Experience in Orthodontics
- Experience or skills in Project Management
- Experience in Healthcare or other regulated industry.
- Experience collaborating with UX Designers.
- Experience with BDD/Gherkin Acceptance Criteria format.
- Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussion with multiple cross-platform technical teams and drive consensus in complex technical discussions.
- Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria via clear and concise user stories.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and solutioning skills.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative desiring to be a member of a High Performing Team in a complex working environment.
- Very strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
