Job Description:

The role:

The Senior Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our products/services meet and exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a meticulous and analytical individual who can lead quality assurance initiatives, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization. 
 

What you’ll do: 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • CAPA Subject Matter Expert 

  • Develops and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. 

  • Leads quality audits and inspections, both internally and with suppliers, to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. 

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (such as production, engineering, and customer service) to address quality issues and drive corrective actions. 

  • Analyzes data and performance metrics to monitor product/service quality, identify trends, and implement preventive measures. 

  • Conducts training sessions for staff on quality standards, processes, and techniques to promote a culture of quality excellence. 

  • Manages the documentation and reporting of quality assurance activities, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans. 

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned 
     

What you need to know: 

Experience/Skills/Education: 

 

Required: 

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related role, with proven experience in a senior or leadership capacity. 

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry. 

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive quality improvements. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
     

Desired: 

  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.

(Base Salary Pay Range: $79,000 - $94,000/ annually ) 

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Hydrafacial's total rewards package for our employees.
