KBR is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program execution, personnel, and growth within the Mission IT and Engineering (MIE) Division. This role reports to the Division Vice President and is responsible for delivering complex NASA and related government programs while shaping strategy, supporting capture efforts, and ensuring strong customer engagement.

The position is Hybrid, with reoccurring visits to the customer site along with the ability to work remotely.

POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams in program execution, personnel leadership, and business growth.
  • Own full lifecycle delivery of programs (cost, schedule, technical performance, and contract deliverables).
  • Manage personnel including hiring, onboarding, performance, development, and subcontractor integration.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and represent KBR in meetings, briefings, and presentations.
  • Lead program planning, integrated master schedules, financial tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Support business development, capture, and strategic positioning for related NASA and commercial opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis, customer needs assessments, and long-range capability roadmap planning.
  • Leverage knowledge of space systems (satellites, ground systems, mission ops, launch support) to inform execution and strategy.
  • Coordinate across internal business units and stakeholders to meet program and growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience
  • Proven experience leading programs to cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Proven experience staffing engineering and scientific positions
  • Proven experience managing teams, and personnel.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government and/or NASA programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain required clearance.
  • Background in space systems, mission engineering, communications, or operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NASA or DOD space related engineering experience.
  • Experience with large and complex government contracts.
  • PMP or PgMP certification.
  • Experience in capture, business development, or growth strategy.
  • TS/SCI Security clearance

Basic Compensation:

  • Jobs on this contract range from $161,600- $297,900. 
  • The offered rate will be based on the position, contract affordability, the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and in consideration of internal parity.

 Additional Compensation:

  • KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
