About Us

Twitch is the world’s biggest live streaming service, with global communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more. It is where thousands of communities come together for whatever, every day.

We’re about community, inside and out. You’ll find coworkers who are eager to team up, collaborate, and smash (or elegantly solve) problems together. We’re on a quest to empower live communities, so if this sounds good to you, see what we’re up to on LinkedIn and X,  and discover the projects we’re solving on our Blog. Be sure to explore our Interviewing Guide to learn how to ace our interview process.

About the Role

Subscriptions are the most reliable way for streamers to earn revenue on Twitch. They not only allow viewers to support their favorite streamers, but also give them rewards like emotes and badges, and benefits like ad-free watching. You will focus on growing our current subscription products (Channel Subscriptions and Turbo) and shaping their future to increase streamers and Twitch's revenue, all while creating a product that viewers love.

You can work in San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; New York, NY; or Seattle, WA.

You Will:

  • Get down into the weeds and find tactical ways of growing subscriptions adoption, using experimentation, intuition and any tool at our disposal to help streamers grow their revenue.
  • Think 2-3 years from now and build a strategic plan on how subscriptions should evolve from the current product feature set.
  • Navigate the ambiguity and complexity of executing on both short and long term goals.
  • Be the voice of both viewers and streamers in the evolution of our subscriptions products.

You Have:

  • 5 or more years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience in revenue centric products.
  • Experience in at least one of: digital subscriptions products or creator economy products.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to understand data trends, insights, and experiments, but also when to drive through product intuition.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.

Bonus Points

  • An ownership mindset and can work on whatever it takes to solve problems
  • A tireless advocate  of the needs of our customers - both our creators and customers.
  • Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market.
  • Experience doing basic data analysis, writing SQL and/or using experimentation/analytics tools

Perks

  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Maternity & Parental Leave
  • Flexible PTO
  • Amazon Employee Discount

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
