About TeamSense:
👋 Hey there! We're TeamSense - a fast-moving, fully-remote startup on a mission to revolutionize how companies connect and engage their hourly workers. We're building more than just a product - we're building a company, a team, a culture, and a brand. We pay attention to the details and take pride in everything we do, ensuring we build something that will endure. Working at TeamSense allows you to be a force for change. Join us in making a difference in the lives of the hourly workforce and their organizations.
About the Role:
As the first Product Marketing hire at TeamSense, you will develop messaging and positioning, craft the narrative for how our products deliver value to customers, and engage teams across sales, campaigns, demand generation, and product to drive overall awareness, pipeline, and revenue across our existing customer base and prospects.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced product marketer to drive launches, enable the sales team, grow adoption for critical products, and develop (and then execute) our go-to-market strategy for key user segments.
What you’ll do:
- Be a storyteller. You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience and differentiate TeamSense. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can build a killer slide deck.
- Lead with data. You like working with data and insights and pair that with your passion for users to generate balanced and thoughtful points of view for how to take our products to market
- Keep things organized. You are able to manage highly interdependent, complex projects with internal and external stakeholders and keep various work streams on track
- Have a passion for AI. You are keen to learn about how things work and are able to explain technical concepts in ways that everyday people can understand
- Be ambitious. You are eager to make an impact at TeamSense. You thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, hyper-growth environment and are able to operate fluidly between the 30,000-foot strategy level and the micro-detail to get things right
- Act as a team player. Product Marketers collaborate across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Sales teams. You are able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work
Requirements:
- 7+ years prior product marketing experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a non-technical audience
- Be able to leverage data to proactively identify opportunities and drive impactful results
This Role is a Great Fit for You if You Have:
- Experience building and scaling product launches
- Shipped AI products before
- Worked in the Manufacturing industry or with HR professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the go-to-market launch of new releases, features and product initiatives and manage the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
- Develop differentiated product positioning and value proposition through customer-centric messaging and marketplace intelligence
- For each product launch, conduct market segmentation analysis, define ideal customer profiles, define launch phases, develop product positioning/value props, establish pricing/packaging, and articulate KPIs for benchmarking.
- Leads research and recommendation on pricing/packaging (competitive analysis, market testing) but works with leadership for final approval.
- Ensure sales readiness by producing internal and external product-related content such as product sheets, case studies, presentations, sales training and partner communications
- Foster deep cross-collaboration between Product, Sales, and Marketing to consistently deliver clear, compelling, and differentiated product positioning within a highly competitive landscape.
- Own market-facing narrative, ensuring accurate product positioning and proof points.
- Develop competitive analysis resources, including battlecards, competitor grids and positioning maps
