The Inbound Product Marketing Manager for Video is responsible for driving the future of innovative workflows for professional video across Adobe's flagship editing and motion design software, as well as new innovations, products and platforms. Through industry expertise, deep customer and product knowledge, you will define business strategy, work with the product and engineering team to help define the priorities for new innovative workflows, ensure product/market fit, as well as assess feature readiness. You will develop all messaging for generative video workflows and will contribute to launch and Go-to-Market strategies that will accelerate awareness and use to drive revenue for the video business. Your ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into tangible benefits and value propositions are critical. We are looking for a teammate with deep knowledge of the video industry, new technology and innovations surfacing in the video landscape and strong interpersonal skills who can work with key cross functional partners across multiple teams.
What You'll Do

As the workflow expert, guide business strategy based on deep understanding of the products, customers, and competitive landscape

Author data-driven Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) to express current market opportunity and key considerations for successful go to market

Work closely with product management to help define workflow requirements, leveraging research, beta programs and customer feedback

Drive internal market research teams to define market opportunities informed by marketing landscape and competitive intel

Collaborate with product leadership and research teams to help define areas of focus in order to drive differentiating innovation and capture business opportunities.

Conduct market research and user studies to inform decisions

Take an active role in community engagement, community feedback and message testing

Act as an external voice of Adobe Pro Video and Generative Video
What Will Help You Succeed

BA/BS degree preferred OR 8+ years of Product Marketing experience OR equivalent experience.

Direct experience in product marketing or product management
-
Deep knowledge of the video industry, specifically AI, machine learning and generative video
-
Strong storytelling and writing skills
-
Proven success working cross-functionally across product management, engineering, go-to-market, sales, etc.

Passion for developing solutions to ensure customer success, and an ability to clearly articulate decisions and insights to a wide range of audiences

Highly organized and able to respond and prioritize requests from cross-functional teams

Ambitious self-starter with a positive, upbeat demeanor

Experience in video editing, artificial intelligence, SAAS, video products & services, or MBA is a plus
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $120,700 -- $213,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
