Lead AI strategy for the NetCloud platform, owning roadmaps for AIOps, LLM assistants, agentic workflows, MCP/API extensibility, and cross-functional alignment to ship AI-driven features that improve reliability, automate remediation, and deliver measurable customer value.
Grow with us
About this opportunity:
Ericsson Inc. does not sponsor US work authorizations for this job position including H-1B, O-1, and TN. Ericsson also does not hire F-1's working on EAD for this position. Locations are Boise, ID, Santa Clara, CA or Plano, TX.
Ericsson's Enterprise Wireless Solutions enable organizations to innovate, operate, and grow anywhere - without constraints. Ericsson NetCloud, Cradlepoint routers, and Enterprise 5G solutions provide the flexibility of public and private 5G, with the zero trust security of simplified SASE. We're at the forefront of the Wireless WAN and 5G - the next big waves in networking - and we remain as hungry and humble as the day we started. If you're hungry to be part of something big, come join us.
Ericsson is looking for a visionary and execution-driven Sr. Product Manager to lead our AI strategy across the NetCloud platform. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market - responsible for shaping how AI transforms our products, our operations, and the experiences we deliver to customers and partners.
You'll help drive our AI product vision end-to-end: from AIOps and intelligent automation to our LLM assistant and agentic workflows. You'll collaborate with engineering, design, and customers to ensure AI is embedded thoughtfully throughout our products - delivering measurable value to customers while positioning Ericsson as the intelligent edge of enterprise wireless.
What you will do
• AIOps & Intelligent Operations - Steer the strategy and execute the capabilities for AI-enabled proactive network monitoring and automated remediation. Own the roadmap that reduces MTTR for issues and automates fixes to improve network reliability for enterprise customers.• LLM Assistant & Conversational AI - Define and evolve our embedded AI assistant, enabling customers and teams to analyze, troubleshoot, configure, and report using an AI interface. Bring creative thinking and problem solving to introduce interaction patterns other than chat. Help steer and improve AI quality, accuracy, and user trust.• AI-Embedded Product Experiences - Identify and prioritize opportunities to weave AI natively into the NetCloud UI - improved workflows, summarized insights, and contextual guidance that feel seamless.• Agentic Experiences & Workflow Automation - Lead the roadmap for agentic capabilities that take multi-step actions on behalf of users. Define appropriate guardrails, oversight mechanisms, and pilot programs with new agents.• Extensibility & MCP Integration - Steer the strategy for AI extensibility via Model Context Protocol (MCP) and open APIs, enabling third-party agents and partners to build on our AI platform safely and at scale.• Cross-Functional AI Leadership - Serve as an AI product authority within the company. Align stakeholders, represent the AI roadmap to leadership and customers, and define how AI ideas are sourced, evaluated, and shipped.
The skills you bring
• 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on AI, ML, or data-driven products in a B2B or enterprise SaaS context.• Strong communication, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas, cast vision, reduce complexity, and unambiguously communicate our goals and strategy as well as development priorities and key outcomes.• Ability to be proactive and take the lead in identifying needs, recommending ideas, defining requirements, prototyping concepts, securing buy-in, and driving alignment.• Must be people smart, sensitive to relational nuances, perceptive of organizational and cultural dynamics, and socially engaging.• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI/ML concepts - LLMs, RAG, agents, MCP, MLOps - and the ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs with engineering teams.• Experience shipping AI features in production, defining evaluation frameworks, managing model/feature quality, and handling failure modes.• Strong design sense, including the ability to decide when an AI capability is ready for customer use and product release.• Analytical mindset with experience using product and usage data to drive decisions; comfort with experimentation and rapid iteration.• Experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise wireless is a plus.• Background in developer platforms, APIs, or ecosystem/partner strategy is a bonus.
Why This Role
