Who we are:

We are IntelliShift, a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company with more than 20 years of expertise in fleet management technology. IntelliShift is the fleet intelligence platform for safety and operations teams, and we empower construction, utilities, field services, and last mile delivery businesses to make the intelligent shift from siloed data using point solutions, to one simple, powerful platform. IntelliShift provides these customers with a level of insight they’ve never had before to improve safety, establish next generation operational efficiency, and make intelligent decisions.

About the role:

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be part of our product development team, working on projects in telematics and mobile operations. You'll collaborate with marketing, software development, customer support, and client success teams to align products with market needs and deliver maximum value to customers. We're looking for someone with a strong track record in user experience and product management, eager to contribute to a fast-growing company.

Why this role:

We’re expanding our product group with a Senior Product Manager to own end‑to‑end product outcomes across key initiatives in telematics, mobile operations, and safety, asset health and much more. You’ll transform real‑world, complex workflows into intuitive, scalable software — leveraging AI where it truly moves the needle.

You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, and GTM leadership to take products from 0→1 and through scale, and you’ll have outsized impact on revenue growth, adoption, safety outcomes, and customer value.

Requirements

What you will do:

Own the lifecycle

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for high-impact initiatives — from deep discovery and market validation through launch, adoption, and scale.
  • Define and maintain a crisp, outcome-driven roadmap that balances customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.

Customer & market discovery

  • Conduct hands-on research with safety, operations, and fleet stakeholders to uncover unmet needs and translate complex workflows into differentiated product opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation to synthesize insights from cases, emails, pilots, demos, and usage analytics into clear problem statements and priorities.

Build the right things, the right way

  • Collaborate daily with Engineering and Design to deliver full-stack solutions; bring technical fluency (data modeling, APIs, device/edge realities, UX data presentation) to drive smart tradeoffs and accelerate delivery.
  • Define MVP slices, run experiments, and iterate quickly using Agile methods; measure learning velocity and value delivered

Go-to-market and outcomes

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, CS, Implementation, & enablement to plan launches, enable winning strategic deals, and set clear expectations around features and timelines.
  • Define success metrics and dashboards; track performance (adoption, activation, value realization) and drive iteration to achieve measurable customer and revenue outcomes.
  • Keep a sharp pulse on industry trends and competitors to ensure IntelliShift maintains a differentiated, compelling offering.

What you bring:

  • 5-7+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, including ownership of 0→1 product(s) and scaling mature products.
  • Proven ability to translate complex, real-world operations into intuitive, scalable software for non-technical users.

Demonstrated experience with AI powered products.

  • Technical fluency across APIs, and UX data presentation; comfortable diving deep with engineers and making informed tradeoffs.
  • Strong analytical toolkit — you leverage both qualitative insights and quantitative data to drive prioritization and decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across Engineering, Design, and GTM in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity; you drive clarity, alignment, and outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar) — or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in fleet management, telematics, logistics, transportation, construction, field services, or other physical operations- contexts.
  • Hands-on experience with maps/GIS, IoT/edge devices, video, computer vision, driver safety, compliance, or operations analytics.
  • Exposure to developer platforms, partner ecosystems, and public APIs/SDKs (plus strong instincts for high quality- API docs and DX).
  • Familiarity with Product Management and design tools such as Productboard, Jira, and Figma.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Location: Remote — The ideal candidate will reside within the Eastern & Central Time Zones.

Travel: Approximately 5–10% travel for customer discovery and pilot engagements.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
