What You’ll Do: 

  • Drive the new product development process for the assigned projects
  • Directly create, modify, and optimize 3D CAD models and assemblies (SolidWorks preferred) Develop and build functional prototypes using 3D printing, machining, breadboarding, and test fixtures
  • Lead root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving efforts during development and production
  • Conduct detailed design reviews, tolerance stack analyses, and DFM/DFA evaluations
  • Personally validate designs through testing and iteration. Collaborates across functions and regions to ensure that stakeholders have input, buy-in, and support of NPD projects, collaborating closely with our Sr. Dir. Of PD
  • Keeps up to date with consumer, customer, and technology trends to improve our existing processes
  • Other duties may be assigned

Bring It! 

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with new product development, Project engineering, project management with 3+ years of relevant engineering experience in baby, maternal health, or toy industry
  • Strong experience across the whole process of developing products from the concept phase through to development all the way to production
  • Deep understanding of plastic injection, LIM, and metal forming
  • Expert knowledge of CAD software. Solid Works preferred to be able to model, review and improve designs, introduce features or strengthen them to be more reliable
  • Experience with ODM and OEM product development in Asia
  • In depth knowledge within the industry including quality requirements and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with technical teams in Asia
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Salary range: $ 90,000 - $ 140,000
