What You’ll Do: 

The Inventory Planner/Sr. Inventory Planner is responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for manufacture of commercial products. 

  • Review, manage, and maintain inventory levels to optimize inventory turns and maintain customer service levels of 99% fill rate
  • Maintain vendor forecasts and analyze variances against forecast
  • Analyze capacity constraints, MOQs, lead-times and vendor requirements to develop planning schedule
  • Work with overseas vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements
  • Manage obsolete and excess inventory
  • Create flash reports to Senior Management identifying performance against plans
  • Other duties may be assigned

Bring It!  

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-5 years experience in purchasing and material planning in consumer package goods industry preferred
  • Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM) a plus
  • ERP/MRP experience is a plus
  • Prior experience working with overseas vendors is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large data sets

Salary range:  

Inventory Planner: $70,000 - $80,000 Annually

Sr. Inventory Planner: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually
