Join us, the future is ours to shape!The eSourcing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimising the digital procurement (eSourcing) process for the organisation. This role involves managing the end-to-end sourcing operations, leveraging technology platforms to ensure efficient supplier engagement, cost savings, compliance, and continuous improvement. The position acts as a bridge between procurement teams, stakeholders, and technology partners, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and procurement best practices.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
eSourcing Process Management: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of eSourcing events (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, e-auctions) across multiple categories and geographies, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Platform Administration: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of eSourcing tools and platforms. Ensure platforms are up-to-date, secure, and utilised to their full potential.
Supplier Enablement & Relationship Management: Facilitate supplier onboarding, training, and ongoing support within eSourcing platforms. Foster strong supplier relationships to drive competitive sourcing.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, legal, finance, IT, and business units) to understand requirements, align sourcing strategies, and provide regular updates.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Generate and analyse sourcing data, identify trends, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend improvements to drive value and compliance.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the sourcing process.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements, promote best practices, and support change management initiatives to drive digital transformation in procurement.
Training & Support: Develop training materials and conduct sessions for users (internal teams and suppliers) on eSourcing tools and processes.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the eSourcing team to drive operational performance, professional growth, and a culture of accountability. Promote open communication and collaboration, ensuring team alignment with organisational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 13+ years of relevant experience
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM) in Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, Six Sigma, PMP) are an added advantage.
