SUMMARY
This role is part of our Spectrum Reach Enterprise Research Department and supports Enterprise National and Category Sales by helping drive revenue growth across existing and new advertising clients. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining data-driven materials for both internal and external use, analyzing large datasets to uncover compelling insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervises the collection and interpretation of data from multiple sources within current and potential markets for advertising sales.
  • Transforms research and analytics into easy-to-understand, visually engaging presentations, marketing materials and one-sheets used to support the national and category sales teams in their client conversations.
  • Contributes to every stage of data research, from analysis through reporting and insight development.
  • Provides consistent insights into the competitive advertising landscape, highlighting emerging trends across media and other industries.
  • Collaborates with national and category sales teams on client calls, providing analytical support and expert insight into Charter's media products and advertising benefits.
  • Oversees the proper implementation of data and timely updating of all research software including: TruAudience, Nielsen, Comscore, Scarborough, MediaRadar, Pathmatics, etc.
  • Partners closely with cross-functional teams - including Agency Partnerships, M&E, Biz Development, Political, Dev. & Transformation, Unreserved, and Enterprise SOS - to develop tailored presentations that showcase Spectrum Reach's value to national clients.
  • Request data from internal sources when needed - collaborate with these teams on deadlines, needs and expectations.
  • Maintain key relationships with research data vendors while continually evaluating research products for potential enhancements and new software that will improve efficiency and maximize revenue.
  • Flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities and ability to keep project elements organized and meet deadlines.
  • Assist with data visualization and storytelling as needed.
  • Other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced understanding of data, including the ability to read, analyze, interpret and extract valuable insights
  • Good communication/people/relationship building skills across all levels of company personnel and leadership
  • Ability to review content for accuracy, content, tone and usability - and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders at various levels
  • Confidence to voice and share opinions/viewpoints in brainstorming meetings/ideation sessions
  • Knowledge of media currencies (Nielsen, Comscore, etc.) and qualitative research studies (Scarborough, etc.)
  • Familiarity with mapping programs, including TruAudience Consumer Insights
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively - maintain flexibility/ability to pivot if needed
  • Media Math experience/exposure
  • Great organizational skills and experience managing timelines/deadlines and concurrent projects

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field; or equivalent work and/or education experience
WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE
4+ years working with or supporting a sales or marketing team
Advanced working knowledge of marketing, media, advertising
  • Attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Excel (including the use of pivot tables/slicers) and PowerPoint (or other data visualization tools)
  • Experience/exposure to Tableau/Alteryx
  • Relationship builder with great people skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Working knowledge of AI
