The WiFi Product Shared Services sub‑team provides the program, portfolio, and process muscle that turns big ideas into shipped features and platforms.
As Senior Manager, Program Management, you will be responsible for establishing strategic project management standards and for overseeing Project Management staff, who are in turn responsible for project execution and delivery on a daily basis. Responsible for strategic development and implementation of assigned projects. Ensures completion of projects from original concept through final implementation. In addition, you will be expected to:• Portfolio strategy & governance - Translate product initiatives into a sequenced, resource‑balanced Roadmap; facilitate Quarterly Roadmap Reviews (QRRs), Operational Steering Committees (OSCs), and Spectrum Business Reviews (SBRs).• Team leadership & coaching - Direct, mentor, and develop Product Delivery Managers (PDM): assign projects, review integrated schedules/RAIDs, clear blockers, and foster professional growth in PM craft and WiFi domain knowledge.• Process ownership - Define, document, and continuously improve PDLC gates, templates, and quality metrics; drive adoption via training, audits, and retrospectives.• Cross‑functional alignment - Ensure Technology and Business delivery teams understand scope, success criteria, and launch plans; resolve prioritization conflicts and escalate critical path risks.• Tool stewardship & automation - Champion Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Power Automate, Jira, Confluence, Jama, and BI dashboards to provide real‑time visibility into schedule health, risks, and KPIs.• Continuous improvement mindset - Support waterfall discipline when needed while embracing Agile principles of iteration, inspection, and adaptation to shorten cycle time and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.• Adaptive contribution - Step into strategy, analysis, or communication gaps as needed to keep WiFi Product initiatives moving forward.
You will report to the Director of Product Management but will operate in a highly matrixed environment, serve as the team's first point of escalation, and champion Spectrum's mission to provide customers with the most reliable, fastest, and clearly superior WiFi experience in the industry.

  • Tracking project statuses, adjusting team member assignments and resource allocations to ensure delivery of projects on time and on budget

  • Coaching and counseling employees while planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Ensuring alignment between project objectives and technical/operational solutions
  • Guiding and reinforcing project management best practices including compliance with department policies, procedures, and practices

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Project Management: 6 years or more; Management: 3 years or more
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Proficient with PC and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and software development lifecycle tools and processes (Agile, Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Ownership, Jira, etc.)
  • Abilities: Prioritize, organize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously; excellent written and verbal communication skills; translate and synthesize data into a compelling narrative; supervise and motivate others
  • Working conditions: Office environment; flexibility to work extended hours; 10 - 15% travel


Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum

The base pay for this position generally is between
$110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
