Job Description:

   

This role is primarily responsible for Marketing Event Planning and Project Management. You will handle everything related to complex event coordination end-to-end, including leading cross-functional project teams, researching event locations, managing contracts and budgets, and attending and executing events on-site. This role requires travel to various events across the US, approximately 1 or 2 trip per month (~30%). 

This is a remote position, open to all US locations.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and secure approval for GTM plans and budgets.
  • Direct cross-functional, cross- organizational teams and agencies in the development and execution of GTM plans and budgets.
  • Define GTM metrics/goals/ benchmarks and track/report progress against them.
  • Develop closed-loop post- analysis for marketing programs and identify/execute indicated actions.
  • Develop offering/segment messaging and manage/ monitor their delivery.
  • Develop/define customer segmentation strategies and customer experience plans and execute/monitor them.
  • Communication of marketing and event planners out to BU leads and sales teams
  • Coordination of ad-hoc ‘committees’ created to develop the strategy around various events
  • Perform marketing operations activities as needed, e.g., Siebel MRM/CRM, PO/accrual management, collateral fulfillment.
  • Assist sales with the development of sales training materials.
  • Assist sales with retailer/reseller account calls/development.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years’ marketing experience, including project management, offering marketing, segment marketing and partner marketing.
  • Experience in Event Planning is highly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
  • Expert knowledge of offering, segment, partner and account-based marketing.
  • Expert knowledge of advertising/direct marketing/research vendor practices and procedures.
  • Well-developed understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/strategy.
  • Strong project and budget management skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communications.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $101,900.00 - $234,500.00
