Job Description

Fabletics is looking for an Sr. Manager, Software Engineering (Mobile) to lead and grow a high-performing engineering squad focused on building world-class digital experiences.

How do you fit in?

In this role, you'll oversee a cross- platform team working across mobile (React Native with TypeScript) and web (React) to ensure seamless, scalable, and high-performing applications. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll set the technical direction, mentor engineers, foster a strong engineering culture and collaborate cross-functionally to ship high-quality products. If you have a passion for both mobile and web development, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering cross-platform applications, this role is perfect for you.

This position will report to the VP, Product and Engineering.

What you will do:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers working across mobile and web platforms.
• Set the technical direction for both mobile and web development, ensuring best practices, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build a seamless user experience across platforms.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Drive engineering initiatives to improve scalability, security, and the developer experience.
• Hire, onboard, and develop top engineering talent to build a world-class cross-platform team.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously evolve our technology stack.

What you can bring:

• Proven experience leading cross-platform engineering teams developing both mobile and web applications.
• Deep expertise in React Native for mobile with TypeScript and React for web.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architectures, web performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience working with GraphQL, REST APIs, and scalable backend services.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and fostering collaboration across teams.
• Passion for mentorship and team growth, helping engineers level up their skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic technical decisions.

Nice to have, but we’ll teach you:

• Experience bridging React Native with native code.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps for mobile and web (CI/CD, Jenkins, automated testing, release management).
• Experience in growing and scaling engineering teams.

Where we are:

• This position will remote, but our HQ is in El Segundo, CA.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $128,300 - $185,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
