The SR. Manager – Provider Contracting will play a key role in organizing and optimizing the contracting department by maintaining an accurate contract inventory, streamlining processes, and overseeing provider, payor and vendor agreements. This role also involves project management responsibilities to enhance operational efficiencies and drive key initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and maintain a comprehensive contract inventory, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal stakeholders.
- Manage recruitment of regional and national providers and vendors in alignment with corporate, health plan, and state guidelines.
- Assist with negotiations of provider, payor and vendor contracts, oversee implementations, and cultivate ongoing relationships.
- Define, initiate, and manage operational reporting, including establishing goals, performance metrics, and process improvements.
- Lead contract modifications, coordinating with local health plans, legal teams, and other internal departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance contracting efficiency, standardization, and compliance.
- Initiate and facilitate meetings with health plans and corporate teams, including executive leadership, to review vendor and provider agreement performance, data scorecards, and partnership strategies.
- Support project management initiatives within the department, driving process improvements, system implementations, and operational efficiencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, public health
- 3 - 5 years of contracting knowledge and experience
- 2 + years’ experience in project management, Healthcare operations, or related fields
- Ability to independently understand, oversee, coordinate across, and communicate clearly on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Project Management Tools

- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1600 Corporate Center Dr, Monterey Park CA 91754.
- The annual total compensation target pay range for this role is: $99,000 - 126,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
