JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for driving profitable customer acquisition, retention and re-engagement for TDSC.com across paid and organic channels. This leader will develop growth strategy and oversees paid and organic media channels, such as SEM, CRM, social and affiliate partnerships (State Dental Associations), working cross-functionally with ecommerce merchandising, product marketing, and technology peers to optimize the funnel and deliver measurable growth. This role requires a results-oriented, data-driven marketer who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling performance marketing programs that efficiently increase demand (traffic), revenue and re-engagement through innovative, insight-based decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Profitable Customer Growth – this role will be directly accountable for driving new customer acquisition, influencing channel revenue growth and ensuring efficiency of the media spend (CAC, ROAS, and payback).
  • Demand generation - Develop, communicate and execute the business marketing strategy across all marketing channels, inclusive of SEM, social, CRM, affiliates and new channels for the business (podcast, video, other).
  • Funnel Ownership - Manage awareness, consideration, retention & re-engagement programs to drive business outcomes.
  • Channel Management & Oversight - Partner with channel owners/agencies on setting the strategies, oversee channel program execution, learn and adjust plans as required.
  • New Channel Ownership - Recommend and pilot the execution of new paid, owned, and earned media channels and tactics to support profitable business growth.
  • State Dental Association Partnerships - Manage affiliate programs to drive membership adoption and engagement.
  • Test & Learn - Establish channel testing mindset within the business to enhance digital channel results while maintaining performance discipline.
  • Creative Assets Development - Manage creative development to be used in channel programs with existing design resources, both internal and external
  • Landing page management - Lead funnel optimization: landing pages, CTAs, nurture flows, conversion paths, segmentation.
  • Forecasting - Collaborates with forecasting, attribution, and performance measurement with Finance and Data teams.
  • Channel Health Metrics - Partner with leadership to set KPIs and responsible for monitoring on a weekly month basis (New customer metrics, CAC, LTV, ROAS, CTR, etc.), optimizing campaigns to achieve targets.
  • Agency Management - Oversee channel agency partnerships and internal resources, ensuring alignment and performance delivery.
  • Marketing Budget Management & Tracking - Manage marketing budgets, reporting regularly on results, insights, and resource needs of marketing strategy.
  • Performance Tracking - Partner with Data and Tech to ensure accurate tracking, analytics, and reporting across channels.
  • Tradeshows - Lead marketing initiatives for annual in-person tradeshow and attend tradeshows and offsite meetings as requested
  • Marketplace Demand Generation - Partners with marketplace team to drive demand of expanded selection partner assortment that drives business objectives.
  • Marketing Capabilities Development - Partners with Technology & Development team to recommend, oversee, test and incorporate new enhancements or launch new digital channel functionality.
  • Marketing Tech Stack - Oversee the marketing tech stack (CRM, automation, analytics) to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
  • Direct Reports – Manage, develop and coach direct report responsible for Marketing Operations.
  • Professional Relevancy - Stay current on digital marketing trends, eCommerce and productivity tools, and customer behavior shifts.

  

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • Deep expertise in digital channels: SEO, PPC, social, display, and email marketing.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Proven success leading omni-channel marketing campaigns that drive acquisition and retention.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to optimize performance across the funnel.
  • HubSpot or similar CRM/automation platform experience preferred.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $113,962 to $178,067 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. 

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
