Job Description

The Senior Manager, Global Finance Business Analyst, will lead the finance business analysis function and serve as a key partner between Finance, Technology, and Operations. This role is responsible for translating business needs into scalable ERP, reporting, and process solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, adoption, and global consistency. 

This leader will manage and develop a team of Finance Business Analysts, guide priorities across transformation and production support work, and help strengthen finance processes across a global, multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate brings strong finance and accounting knowledge, hands-on ERP experience, and the ability to influence stakeholders across regions and functions. 

What you'll get to do: 

Team Leadership & Management 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Business Analysts, setting clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations 
  • Drive accountability for deliverables, timelines, decision quality, and work quality across the team 
  • Prioritize and allocate team capacity across strategic projects, enhancements, and production support needs 
  • Establish standards, governance, documentation practices, and ways of working for finance business analysis 
  • Build a high-performing team culture focused on ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and business impact 

Business Partnership 

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Data & Analytics, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to support business priorities and transformation initiatives 
  • Act as a senior advisor to stakeholders, aligning finance process, data, reporting, and system decisions with business objectives 
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities by ensuring finance systems, reporting outputs, and issue resolutions are coordinated with Accounting 

Systems & Process Improvement 

  • Serve as the finance ERP subject matter expert, with preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations 
  • Identify process, control, data, and system gaps; lead improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and adoption 
  • Define business requirements, support solution design, guide testing, and help deliver global ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements 
  • Promote standardization where appropriate while supporting local statutory, tax, reporting, and operational requirements 

Data & Reporting 

  • Oversee the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of internal and external financial reporting 
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and traceability across ERP, reporting, and downstream analytics outputs 
  • Partner with Data & Analytics and Finance stakeholders to improve reporting effectiveness, business visibility, and decision support 

Project Leadership 

  • Lead and contribute to global finance transformation initiatives from planning through stabilization 
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery activities, including requirements, solution validation, testing, training, change readiness, and post-go-live support 
  • Manage risks, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder alignment to keep workstreams moving and outcomes on track 

Qualifications

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Business Analysis, Business Systems, or related roles, including 2+ years of people management experience 
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting processes, close activities, tax, statutory reporting, and management reporting requirements 
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including implementation, enhancement, support, testing, and adoption activities 
  • Experience supporting global, multi-entity, multi-currency, or intercompany finance environments 
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear process, reporting, data, and system solutions 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence finance, technology, and operational stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated success leading complex workstreams with strong ownership, prioritization, and follow-through 
  • This is not a remote role- the requirement is on-site in the Carlsbad, CA HQ

The salary range for this role is $173,000 per year - $210,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
