Position Summary: 

The Senior Manager, Data Science & Advanced Analytics Solutions will lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven decision tools that enable Samyang America to operate with speed, precision, and foresight.  This role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights and predictive capabilities, supporting strategy, innovation, and commercial execution across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Decision Systems

  • Develop and deploy automated dashboards and reporting systems across key business functions:

    • Sales & revenue performance

    • Marketing effectiveness & ROI

    • Financial performance

    • Innovation pipeline tracking

    • Executive scorecards

  • Standardize KPIs and ensure consistency in how performance is measured across the organization.

Advanced Analytics & Modeling

  • Build models for:

    • Demand forecasting

    • Pricing & elasticity

    • Consumer segmentation

    • Marketing mix optimization

    • Innovation success prediction

  • Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.

AI & Predictive Capabilities

  • Lead development of AI and machine learning applications to enhance decision-making.

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across functions.

  • Implement scalable solutions that move the organization from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics.

Business Partnership

  • Work closely with Strategy, Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Sales leaders to identify key business questions and translate them into analytics solutions.

  • Ensure analytics outputs are embedded into real business processes and decisions.

Data Product Development

  • Treat dashboards, models, and tools as products, ensuring usability, adoption, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive a culture of test-and-learn, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related fields.

  • Strong experience developing analytics solutions that influence business decisions.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

  • Experience with data modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.

  • Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks.

Preferred:

  • Experience applying machine learning or AI in commercial or operational settings.

  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or marketing analytics.

  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference).

  • Exposure to modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

The base salary for this position is between $120,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
