About Saylor
Saylor is an LA-based creative agency for entertainment brands and brands who seek to entertain. We are an office filled with passionate people who love to work together to develop authentic, sharable content that inspires fans across the internet. We represent a wide range of clients including Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Hulu, Paramount+, and more.

We’re a close-knit team of creatives who value collaboration, quality of work, innovation, and most importantly: being social. In the office, we aim to create a supportive environment where individuals are encouraged to work together to problem-solve for our clients.

Position Overview
Saylor is looking for a Sr. Influencer Marketing Manager who lives and breathes pop culture, social media, and the entertainment universe. If you follow creators who break down the latest streaming releases, quote your favorite show in meetings, and track trending soundbites before they go viral—this role is for you.

You’ll lead influencer strategies for some of the most exciting TV and film launches in the world, identifying creators who move culture and designing campaigns that earn attention. This role requires deep knowledge of social platforms, an instinct for digital storytelling, and a love for the ever-evolving entertainment landscape.

You’ll report to the Director of Strategy and collaborate closely with creatives, strategists, and client teams to bring ideas to life.
Location and Salary
This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $100,000-$125,000 depending on experience. There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a client’s office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns that align with client goals, with an emphasis on entertainment properties across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
  • Research and identify culturally relevant influencers and content creators whose voice and audience match each title, genre, and campaign objective.
  • Manage all campaign stages—from ideation and talent negotiations to content creation, approvals, and performance tracking.
  • Negotiate contracts with influencers and partners, managing all legal agreements, fee structures, and payment schedules.
  • Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and ROI across all projects.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with influencers, talent managers, and partner agencies—especially those immersed in film, TV, and fandom communities.
  • Establish influencer guidelines and best practices that reflect both client branding and creator authenticity.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and strategy teams to ensure content feels native, entertaining, and on-brand.
  • Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion) and translate results into actionable insights.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, platform updates, creator culture, and digital behaviors to keep campaigns culturally relevant and forward-thinking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of influencer marketing experience, with a strong background in campaign strategy, execution, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube creator ecosystems.
  • A proven track record leading influencer campaigns from pitch to wrap.
  • Skilled in managing budgets and negotiating contracts with a business-minded approach.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder who can represent Saylor and our clients with confidence.
  • Data-literate with the ability to measure success and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a calm-under-pressure mindset.
  • Prior experience with entertainment clients is a must.
  • Deep passion for pop culture, digital storytelling, fandom, and the entertainment industry.

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k, generous vacation, and great opportunities for growth within the company.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
