Job Description

Fabletics is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst.

How do you fit in?

The Senior Financial Analyst sits at the center of the company’s liquidity and capital visibility. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will own the global short and long-term balance sheet and cash forecasting process, partnering closely with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and senior leadership. Your work will directly inform executive decision making, Board discussions, and strategic planning.

This is a high impact role for someone who enjoys building robust models, improving processes, and translating complex financial data into clear insights. You will have both ownership and visibility, with room to modernize how forecasting and reporting are done as the business continues to scale.

What you will do:

  • End-to-end ownership of the global short-term and long-term balance sheet and cash forecasting process across all entities along with covenant compliance forecasting and reporting.

  • Development and maintenance of integrated balance sheet and cash flow models, with a focus on liquidity, working capital, and forecast accuracy.

  • Executive and Board level reporting packages, including recurring decks and ad hoc analyses that support decision making.

  • Daily global cash tracking and consolidation, including coordination with international teams and translation into USD and reporting to executive management.

  • Deep variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, including root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.

  • Integration of budgets, reforecasts, and inventory planning assumptions through close partnership with FP&A.

  • Scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives, financing activity, and due diligence requests.

  • Own the timely preparation and coordination of investor related financial communications.

  • Identification and execution of automation and process improvement opportunities to increase scalability and reduce manual work.

  • Cross functional partnership with FP&A, Accounting, Planning, AP, Legal, and senior finance leadership on time sensitive initiatives.

What sets this role apart:

  • High visibility to the CFO and senior finance leadership.

  • Ownership of business-critical forecasting processes rather than narrow analytical tasks.

  • Opportunity to modernize models and introduce automation as the company grows.

What success looks like:

  • Leadership relies on your forecasts to make cash and capital decisions.

  • Forecasts are accurate, timely, and clearly explained.

  • Processes are efficient, well controlled, and scalable.

  • You are viewed as a subject matter expert in cash flow and balance sheet forecasting.

What you can bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Significant experience preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses in a complex, multi-entity environment.

  • Proven experience building and maintaining sophisticated financial models.

  • Experience supporting executive and Board level reporting.

  • Understanding of GAAP and how accounting activity flows through the balance sheet and statement of cash flows.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

  • Experience using AI or automation tools to improve forecasting and reporting efficiency.

  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop well-reasoned conclusions.

  • Clear, concise communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.

  • Comfortable operating under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Self-directed and motivated to continuously improve processes and skills.

Where we are:

  • This role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
