Job Summary

**This role reports to the office 4 days a week and 1 day remote**
Comcast Business Operations California is looking for a strategic Senior Financial Analyst to become a trusted partner with our Construction team and provide them with planning, analysis, and operations support.
This is your chance to make a real impact, being involved in multiple projects supporting network expansion and helping our company go carbon-neutral by 2035. You'll approve budgets, create forecasts, and collaborate across all levels to ensure operational excellence. But that's not all! Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.
  • Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.
  • Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
  • Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly and annual reports.
  • Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department member on special projects or on an as-needed basis.
  • Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Effectively synthesize complex information, present well-founded recommendations to leadership, and provide efficient support for ad hoc reporting and data management requests.
  • Performance Measurement Expertise: Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to track and report on critical business metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Process Improvement Champion: Continuously evaluate and optimize operational processes to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
  • Financial Modeling Mastery: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial projections for operating expense projects, actively monitoring actual performance against established plans. 
  • Growth-Oriented Mindset: Embrace continuous learning, demonstrate a creative and self-starting approach, and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to leverage the full capabilities of the Office 365 Suite.
  • Analytical Expertise: Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize a variety of tools effectively, including (but not limited to) SQL, Tableau, Oracle Hyperion, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $88,184.94 - $132,277.41

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
