The Opportunity

Adobe Design is seeking a Sr. Experience Designer to lead visionary work exploring the convergence of data and intelligence in our enterprise analytics products. We’re looking for a versatile designer who excels at breaking down complex problems into thoughtful frameworks and intuitive user experiences. With a strong, research-backed approach, this person will advocate for the voice of the user while balancing the impact of design on business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious about AI model training and passionate about using data to transform customer engagement and create meaningful, engaging experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define how the interplay between data and AI model training will shape the modern workplace.

  • Simplify complex data transformation processes into straightforward, user-friendly workflows.

  • Create clear pathways that enable both advanced users and newcomers to achieve rapid time-to-value.

  • Advocate for innovative concepts to get business partners onboard.

  • Develop intelligent, context-aware solutions that empower customers to tailor their data to their unique needs.

What You Need to Succeed

Knowledge

  • A solid understanding of database architecture and processes, including data collection, processing, mapping, and transformation.

  • A keen interest in learning about AI/ML data model training and configuration.

Skills
Must have:

  • 4+ years of experience and/or training in design or a related field 

  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro

  • Proficiency with prototyping, pattern libraries, wireframing, storyboarding, and alignment diagramming

  • Expertise in usability testing, interviews, survey creation, affinity diagramming, journey mapping, competitive research, and gap analysis.

  • A proven track record of delivering excellent experiences that meet user needs, product requirements, and strategic business objectives 

  • Very strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and storytelling skills 

  • Ability to share design rationale persuasively to all functions of the organization, including executives 

  • Open to mentoring and being mentored, and values giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Nice to have:

  • College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on interactive design, HCI, or related design field 

  • Experience with data visualization design

Adobe Design creates tools that amplify the world’s ability to create and communicate. We’re a global team of designers, researchers, prototypers, content strategists, program managers, and more who work across Adobe’s three product lines: Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $227,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
