The Role:

The Senior Director of Performance Marketing will be responsible for leading our paid marketing and web marketing efforts with our team of full-time employees, contractors, and agencies. You will play a key role in Marigold’s growth, responsible for increasing awareness, leads and account velocity through a deep understanding of paid media across multiple channels (third party, search, seo, social) and a deep curiosity and passion for reaching our ideal users and speaking to them in a way that they understand. With a strong track record of experimentation and relentless execution, you’ll keep us at the leading edge of driving awareness and adoption through paid activities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage our Paid Growth team, including paid search advertising, SEM, and seo strategy, to drive consistent growth of new customers that aligns with our business goals.

  • Develop paid media and search program plans that will scale and align to business and strategic goals and translate to agency for day to day execution

  • Manage and oversee paid media campaigns globally (paid social, paid search, other paid media channels) to drive direct & influenced pipeline growth

  • Organize & analyze digital marketing programs/tactics by campaigns, being able to track and report on key KPIs, as well as make recommended enhancements to improve campaign performance.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all paid channels

  • Research and identify optimal keywords + topics that align to sales and marketing business goals

  • Identify ways to target appropriate job titles, personas, and companies to drive quality engagements and down funnel outcomes.

  • Report summary metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly - though you will manage day-to-day metrics

  • Ensure KPIs for paid search and paid social campaigns are documented, accurate and tracked aligning to stage of funnel of tactic/channel

  • Be a Player coach - You relish the chance to get your hands dirty and do the work, while ensuring that your team is operating effectively alongside you.

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • Experience with developing and executing SEM strategy including keyword research and competitive insights gathering

  • Experience with managing performance driven team or agency, whether internal or external

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, LinkedIn, and 6Sense

  • Ability to dive into data, uncover insights and optimize campaigns appropriately

  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to "turn on a dime", think through problems and come up with innovative solutions, and deliver against very tight deadlines

  • Bias for action, high attention to detail and exhibit clear ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Bring fresh ideas to the table in order to test and learn from while also exhibiting strong ownership over the work completed.
