About the Role:

As CrowdStrike’s Sr. Director of Finance Applications, you will grow an organization designed to create the infrastructure and systems that enable operations teams to scale and achieve process excellence. Success will require partnering with key stakeholders to ensure our systems and practices support CrowdStrike’s overall Business Strategy. You will be responsible for achieving the required functionality, ease of execution and scalability across all Finance Systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner, collaborate and develop strong relationships with Finance leaders to understand business needs in support of the digital strategy, corporate objectives, and major functional objectives

  • Serve as the IT owner for Finance systems and partner cross functionally to ensure systems integrate and operate as designed and intended to support global process execution

  • Lead a high-performing team of business and technical analysts, providing mentorship, career development, and strategic direction to ensure organizational success and employee growth

  • Communicate effectively and confidently with technologists, team members, and leadership, translating technical concepts to business value statements

  • Perform gap assessments, formulate investment proposals, and partner with the Office of the CIO organization to develop roadmaps that optimally reflect corporate priorities and balancing of resources

  • Manage demand and drive execution of a portfolio of projects through effective prioritization, planning (e.g. clear definition of objectives, success criteria, risks, scope, timelines, cost), vendor management and oversight

  • Develop, document, and maintain process, system, integration and data architectures for Finance eco-systems

  • Utilize best practices for defining business capabilities, understanding core requirements, and managing vendors for implementation and ongoing support

  • Implement integrated and automated processes that drive efficiency and be audit ready at all times; sustain knowledge continuity through appropriate level of documentation, cross training and vendor management

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA or similar certification is a plus

  • 15+ plus years of progressively increasing responsibility in IT applications with a minimum of 8 years partnering and working with Finance functions on the implementation of new business capabilities enabled by IT 

  • Experience in the Cloud Software industry is a plus

  • Strong business acumen along with proven collaboration and facilitation skills

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial business processes with several years of experience with multiple best-in-class solutions

  • Extensive business system analysis skills and strong experience with system development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)

  • Grit, can-do attitude. Ability and willingness to roll up sleeves as needed to ensure group success

  • Experience in change management and influencing across complex areas such as process design, tradeoffs in systems, scaling programs through company life stages, etc

  • Proven track record of influencing, leading and facilitating initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders

  • Growth mindset, sense of curiosity and strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the highest standards for accuracy and precision

  • Strong planning, project management and vendor management skills including establishment of managed services for application support

  • Highly organized, detailed oriented individual who can multi-task and achieve results via teamwork and using consultative approaches

  • Past experience managing IT portfolios and budgets is a plus

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $210,000 - $300,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
