Responsibilities:
- Design and develop rapid prototypes and PoCs using Cloud-native services(AWS, GCP or Azure), data platforms, and AI services
- Evaluate & integrate emerging technologies (Semantic Layer, Iceberg catalogs, Vector DBs,Conversational BI/AI etc)
- Facilitate RFI/RFPs with identifying, analyzing, testing and implementing new data engineering tools
- Enable data governance, security, and observability into PoC designs from day one
- Build decision matrixes for Data & Analytics technology selection, and key drivers
- Package learnings and outcomes into technical documentation and demos
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Python, APIs and Cloud-native services
- Ability to write complex SQL to analyze and troubleshoot data anomalies
- Maintain awareness of cutting-edge trends in Cloud, AI,and Data Engineering
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years experience within Cloud and Data Engineering (AWS, Python, CI/CD )
- 3+ years experience in data engineering and BI tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI ,etc.)
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
- Familiarity with AI/ML Frameworks (e.g. Hugging face, PyTorch, Open AI API etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Excellent PowerPoint, Viso, or Lucid chart skills to build presentations and workflows
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in related discipline or equivalent
Desired Characteristics:
- Solution focused, ability to perform under pressure and meet stretch targets
- An understanding of the media/entertainment industry is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, presentation, and customer service skills
- Experience with Semantic layer, Vector Databases,Unity catalog etc.
