Company Description
Acadia is a full-service CRO agency based in Atlanta, Georgia. We help e-commerce brands grow revenue through continuous testing, personalization, and site optimization, built on data, strong client partnerships, and a relentless focus on results.

Overview
You are an experienced, data-informed strategist who builds conversion-focused testing programs that move the metrics our clients care about most. You bring hands-on experience with A/B and multivariate testing, website analytics, UX/UI, and conversion strategy. As Senior Strategist, you own the strategy and client relationship for each of your accounts. You are accountable for every client's results and contracted deliverables, and you lead a CRO Project Manager who runs day-to-day operations. You work alongside our analytics team, designers, developers, and QA to deliver optimization programs that clients trust and renew.

Success in this role depends on:

  • Client-facing communication, presenting with confidence, and thinking on your feet.
  • Handling many clients and priorities at once.
  • Conversion and UX strategy, from test ideas through results and next steps.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Leading and supporting your PM so work ships on time and at high quality.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and to improving how the team works.

Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Review and adjust each client's testing strategy monthly: roadmapping in Wrike, section-by-section check-ins, and changes based on what past tests showed.
  • Prepare biweekly reporting slides, and keep track of each client's overall data and business priorities, evolving strategy to support their business.
  • Understand the client's marketing, messaging, product merchandising, and end customer, and build strategies around customer needs.
  • Understand non-CRO disciplines well enough to discuss them with clients.

Client Ownership

  • Ensure we meet contracted deliverables for every client, every month, and act as theescalation point when we are at risk.
  • Stay alert to churn risk, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build 1:1 relationships and trust with each client's main points of contact.
  • Lead client calls and presentations. Review and approve the call deck before each call (roadmap, agenda, implementation monitoring, open discussions).
  • Debrief with Kelly after each call, send the recap, and run follow-up workflows the same business day.
  • Lead internal client prep and debrief calls as needed.

Test Planning and Design

  • Review new test slides from the design team and give feedback, making sure each test has a clear observation, question, and hypothesis and fits the client's business goals.
  • Present new tests to clients.
  • Explain strategy using UX/UI design principles.
  • Make minor design updates in Figma or Photoshop for quick turnarounds.

Data and Results

  • Identify each test's primary segment(s) and KPI(s).
  • Review test result slides before client calls, decide which data matters for the client's
  • decision, and present results in a way the client understands.
  • Turn results into clear recommendations that keep creating value for clients.

Project Oversight and Technical

  • Own special projects: scoping, a clear path to completion, clear expectations, and level of effort that fits the scope of work.
  • Serve as the escalation point for your PM, and review tests before they go to the client when needed.
  • Build a simple Monetate test from start to finish for quick-turnaround requests.
  • Make minor HTML/CSS edits for quick adjustments.
  • Follow and improve team processes that support quality, scale, and capacity
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in website testing and a UX-focused role.
  • Strong client-facing experience, including leading calls, presenting results, and managing difficult conversations.
  • Strong working knowledge of web analytics (e.g., GA4, Hotjar, Clarity).
  • Hands-on experience with testing platforms such as Monetate, Convert, or VWO.
  • Experience reporting on the success or failure of optimization efforts.
  • A sound understanding of the math behind effective testing.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript is a bonus.
  • Proficiency with Figma or Photoshop, Wrike, Slack, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • E-commerce and Shopify experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, and to lead and support a direct report

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
