Senior Coordinator, Global Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing

Reporting to the Executive Director of Brand Marketing and dotted line into the VP of Catalog Brand and Digital Marketing, the senior coordinator will assist in the day to day efforts of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and TV Distribution.   This position supports the creation, management & implementation of global marketing programs for various film labels including Sony Pictures Classics, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions & Sony Pictures International Productions.  They will also assist brand leads for Catalog and TV series releases in the home entertainment space.

Brand Marketing

  • Coordinate marketing materials and legal documents between key stakeholders, legal, and SPHE teams
  • Attend marketing brand meetings with functional teams (i.e., Media, PR, Research, Digital Marketing, Creative and Shopper Marketing), partner, and agency meetings to track minutes and follow-ups for all teams in attendance.  Distribute notes to all invited as needed
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of product slides and marketing presentations (including but not limited to filmmaker, retail and internal PowerPoint presentations)
  • Coordinate communications with SPT Distribution offices Worldwide including distribution of quarterly product updates and ad hoc title and asset information.  Attend biweekly video conference calls with regional offices in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America
  • Assist with budget templates for brand marketing campaigns
  • Screen films and attend and contribute to team brainstorms
  • Special ad hoc projects for the Marketing team

Project Coordination

  • Maintain a timeline of critical home entertainment marketing dates for new features, TV and catalog releases.
  • Update all essential internal systems with final metadata and coordinate metadata delivery to external vendors for new features, TV and catalog releases.
  • Track campaign milestones, deliverables, and approvals across cross-functional teams 
  • Track Television series airdates and legal holdbacks

Team & Meeting Support 

  • Schedule and organize team meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items 
  • Prepare presentation decks and assist in campaign recaps or cross-department sharing
  • Invoice processing for the marketing team
  • Facilitate product orders

Catalog Digital Marketing  

Content & Asset Support 

  • Pull and organize film clips, stills, and legacy creative materials for use in marketing campaigns and social activations 
  • Assist in routing creative and social assets for internal approvals (legal, brand, executive) 
  • Help maintain the Global Asset Deck (GAD) and ensure proper documentation and upload of assets to the global repository 
  • Support coordination with Internet Services (ISG) on campaign landing pages and email QA 
  • Monitor Social Media trends to quickly boost organic content from our Catalog  

Project Coordination 

  • Manage timelines and ensure stakeholder communication for content updates, evergreen refreshes, and vendor deliveries 
  • Maintain internal databases and tools, including status trackers, campaign summaries, and calendars 
  • Empower trusted creators to ideate on catalog programs and drafting opportunities  
  • Review social creative weekly to share with executive stakeholders in a timely manner 

Digital & Social Execution 

  • Coordinate social copy and asset trafficking between internal teams, creative agencies, and digital leads 
  • Support influencer campaign logistics, including outreach, tracking, and reporting 
  • Prepare recaps of campaign performance and creative highlights for internal and external use 
  • Expand on our influencer roadmap and toolkits to ensure our campaigns have a global, always-on long lead approach  

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in film marketing/advertising/publicity strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite
  • Familiarity with file types and creative software (Photoshop, Keynote, After Effects, Final Cut, Quicktime) a plus
  • Strong creative eye and intuition, attention to detail and follow through, and a willingless to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines in a very fast-paced ever-changing environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-starter and an independent critical thinker
  • Attentive to detail and hyper-organized
  • Able to initiate projects and solve problems effectively
  • Must have a high degree of motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $55,000 to $63,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
