The Sr Content Manager is a fully qualified content marketing professional responsible for independently developing and executing high-impact content that supports Alkami’s brand, demand generation, product marketing, and thought leadership objectives. This role supports and manages diverse content initiatives by evaluating audience needs, business priorities, industry trends, and performance insights to select effective approaches. The Sr Content Manager partners across marketing and subject matter expert groups to deliver clear, differentiated storytelling across channels while maintaining brand, editorial, and regulatory standards. The role also identifies opportunities to improve content quality, workflows, and performance, building the expertise needed to progress into broader content strategy ownership. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supports multi-channel content plans by translating campaign objectives, audience insights, and messaging priorities into coordinated deliverables and timelines

  • Supports the creation and editing of  high-impact content assets including whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, research reports, blogs, webinars, executive bylines, social content, video, and website copy

  • Manage assigned editorial calendars by prioritizing content requests, coordinating milestones, and maintaining visibility into deadlines and dependencies

  • Determine appropriate content approaches by evaluating audience personas, channel requirements, competitive context, and available performance data

  • Partner with product marketing, demand generation, public relations, digital, social, brand, and web teams by aligning content to campaign goals and channel strategies

  • Guide subject matter experts and internal contributors by conducting interviews, shaping source material, and translating complex topics into accessible narratives

  • Maintain brand voice and editorial quality by applying established messaging, style, review, and approval standards across content deliverables

  • Optimize content for discoverability and engagement by incorporating SEO, SEM, conversion, and channel-specific best practices

  • Analyze content performance by reviewing engagement, conversion, traffic, and distribution metrics and recommending adjustments to improve results

  • Support thought leadership initiatives by researching fintech and financial services trends and developing differentiated points of view for priority audiences

  • Improve content workflows by identifying process gaps, documenting repeatable practices, and recommending tools or methods that increase efficiency

  • Use artificial intelligence tools by applying approved platforms and quality controls to accelerate research, drafting, repurposing, and optimization activities

  • Ensure content meets regulatory and corporate requirements by collaborating with legal, compliance, and investor relations partners during review and approval

  • Advise marketing partners on content execution by applying professional judgment to resolve messaging, format, and delivery challenges independently

Recommended Experience & Education

Minimum Years of Experience

3–6 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, editorial, or brand storytelling roles within B2B, SaaS, fintech, financial services, or related industries, with demonstrated success independently delivering multi-channel content initiatives.

 

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

Required

  • Advanced writing, editing, and storytelling skills across long- and short-form content

  • Strong knowledge of content marketing principles, editorial processes, and brand voice standards

  • Ability to independently manage multiple content projects with varied stakeholders and deadlines

  • Experience interpreting audience, campaign, and content performance data to improve execution

  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, digital content optimization, and multi-channel distribution practices

  • Proficiency with content management, collaboration, and project management platforms

  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools responsibly to support content development and workflow efficiency

  • Ability to communicate complex fintech, technology, or business concepts clearly for varied audiences

Preferred

  • Experience in fintech, banking technology, financial services, or another regulated industry

  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership, public relations, or research-driven content

  • Familiarity with marketing automation and analytics platforms

  • Experience coordinating external writers, agencies, or subject matter expert contributors

  • Knowledge of public company content review considerations and investor relations restrictions

The salary range for this position is: $85,000 - $105,000Cool Things to Know
