Position Overview

The Operations & Analytics Sr. Manager is the analytical and operating partner to the CX & Operations leadership team. The role creates transparency into business performance, identifies the operational and economic drivers behind results, and turns complex data into clear, compelling stories that drive decisions and action.

This is not a traditional reporting role. You will sit directly with functional leadership, turn performance data into a clear point of view, and translate it into executive-ready narratives and presentations that explain what is happening, why it matters, and what we should do next.

We are looking for an operator with strong analytical horsepower who can combine business judgment, data storytelling, AI, and technology to help us make faster, better decisions and drive priority initiatives through measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn insight into priorities. Take what the data shows and translate it into a clear point of view on what CX & Operations should act on next.
  • Build the business case. Develop forecasts, scenarios, and capacity models that show the expected impact, cost, and ROI of a proposed initiative.
  • Lead initiatives end to end. Own selected priority initiatives from analysis through implementation, with clear milestones and a measured result, not just a completed project.
  • Move fast with modern tools. Use SQL, Power BI, latest AI tools, and automation to independently analyze performance, uncover drivers, and build scalable reporting.
  • Tell the story. Transform complex data and analysis into clear, executive-ready narratives and presentations that drive a decision.
  • Drive it cross-functionally. Coordinate execution across CX, Installation, Production, and Finance without relying on formal authority.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years in analytics, business performance, FP&A, business operations, or management consulting.
  • Strong technical toolkit: SQL, advanced Excel, Power BI or a comparable BI tool; experience with Salesforce and cloud data platforms is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience using AI and automation to speed up analysis and reduce manual work.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to build a business case from imperfect data.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
  • A track record of driving measurable results across teams without direct authority.

Why this role is exciting

  • Direct exposure to CX & Operations leadership, with real influence over what gets prioritized and built next.
  • Ownership of the initiatives that shape how the function performs, not just the reporting behind it.
  • High autonomy paired with high accountability: you drive the story and the result.

What Success Looks Like

Leaders have a trusted, actionable view of performance and understand what is driving results. Risks and opportunities are identified earlier, decisions happen faster, and insights translate into clear actions and measurable business impact. Manual reporting is reduced through automation and AI, enabling greater focus on improving customer experience, productivity, operational performance, and cost.

Candidate Value Proposition

This role offers direct exposure to CX & Operations leadership and a broad view of how the Post Sales customer journey runs. It's built for someone who wants to combine deep analytical and AI fluency with real operating ownership, and to build the reporting and insights capability that becomes the backbone of the function's decision-making.

What's in it for you?

  • Annual base salary range: $125,000 - $160,000
  • Bonus target range: 20% - 30%
  • Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability
  • A company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth
  • Time off with pay
  • 401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • Wellness programs and product discounts

Please note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
