Job Summary

*Please note that this position requires in-office presence four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day per week. Relocation assistance is not available, and the selected candidate must be based in Puyallup, WA; Everett, WA; or Tigard, OR.
Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations, employee, customer and/or economic data in order to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, predict business outcomes and decision-making purposes. Involved with numerous key business decisions by conducting the analyses that inform our business strategy. Utilizes GIS to manage, analyze, and visualize geospatial data, providing critical insights for decision-making and project support. Works cross-functionally to collect data and makes actionable recommendations at all levels. Infers trends from a variety of data sources and confidently delivers their interpretation; makes recommendations to executives. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Performs all business intelligence analysis and data exploitation. Extracts signals and signatures from raw data, integrates that information with other data sources and compiles/disseminates formatted reports to customers.
  • Recommends improvements to competitive business intelligence reports and interpretation of data by sales, business development, product and executive committees.
  • Designs and edits GIS data for numerous projects, and analyzes spatial data through the use of mapping software.
  • Plans and executes system testing. Requires knowledge of the customer's mission and technology used to accomplish a given task.
  • Leads the analysis and reconciliation of data and reporting projects and initiatives delivery.
  • Develops, maintains and reports all relevant product, site and customer metrics and applies findings to develop appropriate goals and projections.
  • Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
  • Trains others throughout the organization in using key analytical and forecasting tools and statistical analysis.
  • Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers.
  • Experience in Geographic Information Systems(GIS) is required
  • Experience with ArcGIS, Python, Selenium, SQL strongly preferred
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $90,964.97 - $136,447.46

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
