As a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead and manage complex engineering projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery of advanced aerospace solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, solve technical challenges, and contribute to the advancement of propulsion and power systems technology.
 

You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F
 

In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cutting-edge aerospace power systems, enhancing aircraft performance, reliability, and efficiency for commercial and defense customers worldwide.
 

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage advanced aerospace engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, manufacturing, and quality to resolve complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project execution and engineering processes.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in advanced project engineering within aerospace or related industries.
  • Strong expertise in, auxiliary power units and systems engineering.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and engineering software relevant to aerospace system design and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects to successful completion.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in aerospace power systems development and testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a collaborative mindset.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
