At Auror, we're empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It's high volume crime that's increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.
Founded in New Zealand 11 years ago, we're working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We're using technology for good.
In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you're looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.
We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact-whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.
The Role
As an Enterprise Account Manager (known as Retail Partnerships Managers here at Auror), you'll own and grow a portfolio of Auror's largest enterprise retail customers - driving product expansion that delivers meaningful outcomes for customers and leading contract renewals to deliver commercial success.
This is a quota-carrying role where success is measured by revenue growth and the business outcomes achieved for our customers. You'll lead the full expansion lifecycle: identifying upsell opportunities, building deal strategies, running discovery, crafting business cases, and closing with confidence. You'll be the face of Auror to your accounts - a trusted advisor with sharp commercial instincts, a strategic lens, and a deep understanding of customer value.
Reporting into the Director of Retail Partnerships - North America, you'll work closely with teams across Sales, Customer Success, and Product to turn customer outcomes into business growth.
What You'll Do
  • Own and grow a book of business: Manage a portfolio of high-value enterprise SaaS accounts, driving net revenue retention through strategic expansion and proactive account management.
  • Drive revenue expansion: Own the full upsell cycle - from uncovering opportunities and shaping proposals, to leading negotiations and closing high-value deals.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans: Align customer goals with Auror's capabilities through clear, actionable plans that drive product adoption, measurable growth, and long-term success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers: Build strong, trust-based relationships by listening deeply, understanding their operational challenges, and translating these into business needs that inform our engagement and roadmap.
  • Lead high-impact engagements: Facilitate customer business reviews, roadmap sessions, and workshops that deepen relationships and drive momentum.

This role reports to Matt Sorkin, Director of Retail Partnerships - North America
As Director of Retail Partnerships, I lead account management for our North American customer base. Over the past decade, I've built and led high-performing teams focused across numerous industries. I'm passionate about the intersection of growth strategy and customer insights, and I've had the privilege of partnering with brands like PepsiCo, JetBlue, Live Nation, Cotopaxi, Best Buy, Samsung, the San Antonio Spurs, and Beam Suntory. Outside of work, you'll find me hiking, biking, skiing, or scuba diving.
Requirements
About you:
  • Enterprise-ready: You have 4+ years in enterprise sales, account management, or strategic customer roles - ideally in B2B SaaS or a similar solution-based selling environment.
  • Strategic and structured: You know how to build an account plan, manage a pipeline, and focus effort where it matters most.
  • Data and outcome-oriented: You're comfortable using data to inform decisions, shape deals, and demonstrate customer impact.
  • Adaptable and fast-moving: You thrive in a dynamic, scaling environment where things shift - and you're ready to shift with them.
  • Remote (North America): While most of our North American team is based in Denver, we're open to remote candidates across the region for the right fit.

We are looking for people who demonstrate a strong alignment to our Guiding Principles (you can find these on our Careers page ).
Auror is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible application process to all candidates and we are actively working to improve diversity within the tech industry. We celebrate diversity and inclusiveness at Auror, regardless of (but not limited to) race, gender, sexual orientation, family status, religion, ethnicity, national origin, physical disability, veteran status, or age.
If you need adjustments to any part of our recruitment process because of accessibility reasons, please do not hesitate to let us know during the application process. We will work with you to identify adjustments that will allow you to perform at your best.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary Range: $225,000 on-target earnings with uncapped earnings for those who out perform
  • Employee share scheme: You'll own part of a company making a real difference!
  • Flexibility: We are hard-working and outcome focused, but recognize there is more to life than work. We promote a healthy work/life blend.
  • Shorter work weeks (at full pay): Everyone gets Friday afternoons off, so you can start your weekend early, and do more of whatever it is that makes you happy.
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision): Auror covers 100% of the cost of your health insurance plan with United Healthcare & Metlife.
  • Focus on mental and physical health: We understand how vital our health is and have policies to support your wellness, including: Wellness Days and up to three expert sessions paid for every year.
  • Family-friendly: We offer comprehensive parental leave and benefits for primary and non-primary caregivers, including a baby bonus and meals delivered to your door.
  • Personal growth: We support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.
  • Team love: We have regular team lunches and social events where most (if not all) activities are during work hours.
  • Making an impact: You'll work to solve interesting problems and help us keep communities safe.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
