Job Summary
As an Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth, deepen strategic relationships, and expand influence within a global account structure—focusing specifically on West Coast buying centers for major American OEMs (e.g., GM, Ford). You will target key automotive customers with a strong emphasis on software-defined vehicles, digital cabin experiences, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), consistently exceeding sales goals through large, complex software and services transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new bookings and expand buying centers across West Coast locations of American OEMs such as GM and Ford.
- Build and manage high-impact relationships with Tier 1 automotive partners, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver HERE’s products, platforms, and services.
- Collaborate with commercial and technical pre-sales to craft value-driven proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans specific to West Coast engagement opportunities.
- Lead pricing discussions and negotiate customer contracts.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and update CRM systems to reflect account progress and strategy.
Work Environment
- Operate independently while collaborating with the Global Account Director and broader global OEM team.
- Proactively engage internal stakeholders to deliver results that align with customer expectations and HERE’s standards.
- Ensure compliance with HERE’s lifecycle management processes and best practices.
- Bring creative, strategic thinking to address challenges and identify growth opportunities in West Coast markets.
Scope and Influence
- Serve as a senior individual contributor within a global team, with a geographic focus on key West Coast buying centers.
- Create and execute region-specific account strategies to grow pipeline and revenue.
- Influence cross-functional internal teams to meet complex customer requirements.
- Act as a trusted partner and strategic advisor to OEM decision-makers.
Impact and Decision-Making
- Own revenue generation and solution adoption across West Coast OEM accounts.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Director and VP-level stakeholders to align HERE solutions with customer priorities.
- Lead internal and external resources through the full sales lifecycle, from strategy to close.
- Guide customers through complex decision-making processes with a consultative, outcomes-focused approach.

Who are you?Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience in the automotive technology sector (software, IVI, ADAS).
- Proven track record of closing $2M+ software/services deals with major OEMs.
- Strong understanding of software-defined vehicles, electric vehicles, and autonomous technologies.
- Experience and network within Silicon Valley and West Coast automotive buying centers.
- Expertise engaging senior-level decision-makers in technical and commercial discussions.
- Technical proficiency across software platforms, architecture, and hardware.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and independent work ethic.
- Experience managing cross-functional collaboration across disciplines and value chain positions.

The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan with a target of 66.7% of base salary. Final payouts depend on individual and company performance. (Target Total Compensation = Base Salary + 66.7%)
