Function: Enterprise Sales – Energy & Natural Resources
Vantor is seeking a driven Account Executive, Energy to expand our presence across the energy, oil & gas, utilities, and renewable sectors. In this role, you’ll lead enterprise engagements that help operators, analysts, and decision-makers harness geospatial intelligence and SaaS-based mapping solutions to manage assets, optimize operations, and accelerate the energy transition.
You’ll be selling far more than imagery—you’ll be selling clarity, precision, and speed in understanding the world’s most critical infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive New Business: Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities within major Energy and Oil & Gas companies, utilities, and renewable energy operators.
- Sell Geospatial SaaS Solutions: Position Vantor’s geospatial platforms and APIs as essential tools for infrastructure monitoring, environmental compliance, and asset management.
- Lead Full Sales Cycle: Own the process from pipeline development through negotiation and close, executing with a consultative, value-based approach.
- Strategic Account Growth: Expand existing relationships, uncover new use cases, and grow annual recurring revenue across enterprise accounts.
- Engage Key Stakeholders: Partner with business leaders, data teams, and field engineers to align Vantor’s solutions with operational and ESG priorities.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Vantor’s product and technical teams to deliver tailored demonstrations and proposals.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain disciplined forecasting and reporting within Salesforce; apply MEDDPICC or similar methodologies to drive consistency and performance.
- Market Presence: Represent Vantor at energy industry events, conferences, and customer briefings as a thought leader in geospatial applications for energy.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise or SaaS sales experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Renewables sectors.
- Experience with remote sensing, mapping, or geospatial data applications
- New Business development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Systems, Geosciences, or related field.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas and managing large, strategic accounts.
- Experience navigating long sales cycles, RFPs, and multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and a structured enterprise sales methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Established relationships across Energy and Oil & Gas companies, EPC firms, or asset management teams.
- Proven ability to sell complex data, SaaS, or analytics solutions to technical and business audiences.
- Understanding of energy transition initiatives, infrastructure monitoring, and environmental compliance workflows.

● The pay for this position within Colorado is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.● The pay for this position within New Jersey is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.● The pay for this position within Delaware is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually. ● The pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $179,000.00 - $299,000.00 annually.● The pay for this position within California is: $188,000.00 - $275,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
