The Specialist, Data Operations is responsible for the classification, maintenance, governance, and quality of master data and metadata across multiple data domains, including account, contact, and product information. The position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity and exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to data governance and process improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Classify, build, and maintain master data and metadata across multiple data domains.
Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, and accuracy; identify and resolve data quality gaps.
Track and monitor data quality improvements over time.
Respond to data update requests and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data concerns.
Audit data regularly to ensure integrity and compliance with governance standards.
Research and validate data using internal and external sources.
Process bulk data updates and identify exceptions requiring corrective action.
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute data-related initiatives.
Develop and document process improvements related to data management activities.
Participate in special data governance or system enhancement projects.
Support data clean-up and system migration initiatives as assigned.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data administration, data stewardship, or data quality.
Experience with data providers and business intelligence tools preferred.
Knowledge of data governance principles and master data management practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA.
Working knowledge of SQL.
Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
