Job Description:

Summary
The Sourcing & Supply Analyst's function is to contribute to the competitive status and profitable operation through executing sourcing events, spend analysis, contract negotiations and obtaining the best total cost of ownership. The position also assists with implementing process improvements and supporting the department with solutions to sourcing challenges.
Essential Functions
  • Research internal business need and market trends to recommend sourcing strategy for assigned projects. Present recommendation to management and senior leadership and execute overall sourcing plan.
  • Design RFPs/ RFQs / electronic auction events as needed to meet project needs. Review supplier proposals, including the underlying financial model to develop spend and/or saving targets. Calculate, track and record monthly savings to assess relative performance to target.
  • Collaborate with cross-functions to resolve supply or performance issues, review and influence recovery plans both internally and with suppliers
  • Engage suppliers to meet Ryder's business needs and drive improvements in quality, capacity, capability, and cost.
  • Monitor market trends and conditions to ensure that contract portfolio is benchmarked appropriately

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) advanced required
  • Tableau / MS Power BI intermediate preferred
  • SQL beginner preferred
  • Understanding of sourcing processes and events intermediate required

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred Business, Finance, or related field
  • Four (4) years or more Purchasing, Sourcing or Supply Management required
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) advanced required
  • Tableau / MS Power BI intermediate preferred
  • SQL beginner preferred
  • Understanding of sourcing processes and events intermediate required
  • Other CPSM or other professional supply management or purchasing certificate

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

$70,000.00

$70,000.00
