Purpose of Your Work:

As Solutions Consultant working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for independently thinking, learning on the fly and quickly adapting to situations. The Solutions Consultant will work within Managed Services Client Solutions project teams and cross-functionally with other Managed Services departments. The primary output of a Solution Consultant is providing high quality system configuration for MercuryGate, OTM, and/or RedwoodConnect to support the Redwood Managed Services business and customers.

How You Make a Difference Everyday:

  • Create "to-be" business process designs that meet customer requirements and provide for dynamic management of freight
  • Perform OTM, MercuryGate, and/or RedwoodConnect configuration according to client requests
  • Perform business process and functional audits and provide suggestions to improve the use of Redwood systems to meet the client's needs
  • Document test scripts and test Redwood Managed Services solution (integration, TMS, etc.)
  • Perform training for end users
  • Assist with analysis and tool development to improve transportation planning at the operational and tactical level
  • Implement Redwood Managed Services TMS and RedwoodConnect intellectual property and provide input for best practices implement, supporting and adding new feature/functionality
  • Assist in technical support functions of Managed Services Client Solutions team
  • Configure internal and customer-requested enhancements to increase customer and Redwood value
  • Work cross-functionally with Client Success, Client Logistics, and other Redwood departments to ensure solution meets requirements and provides expected value

You’ve Got This?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems
  • 1-2 years of Supply Chain experience or Consulting experience
  • MercuryGate TMS experience is highly desired
  • TMS - Transportation Management System experience a plus
  • System integration experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn on the fly
  • Willingness to travel 10%
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Compensation Range:

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $90,000

This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.

The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
