Job Description

Role: Solutions Architect (.NET, React/Next.js, Azure & Agentic AI)

Duration: Long Term

Location: Campbell, CA- Hybrid

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Solutions Architect to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and AI-enabled products and integrations across Vialto's global technology platform. This role requires a strong engineering leader who can deliver end-to-end solutions across modern web applications, cloud-native services, and AI-powered workflows while contributing to architectural strategy and technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in React/Next.js, C#/.NET, Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, security, and modern software architecture principles. This individual will leverage agentic development practices, including AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and similar coding agents, to accelerate delivery while maintaining enterprise-grade quality, security, and compliance standards.

 

Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Build scalable backend services and APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and .NET technologies.
  • Deliver secure and performant enterprise applications supporting payroll, tax, immigration, and other business-critical workflows.
  • Design and implement reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design systems.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

  • Build and operate cloud-native solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure PaaS services.
  • Implement secure deployment architectures, networking, identity management, and operational tooling.
  • Develop and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud services.
  • Establish observability using:
    • Azure Application Insights
    • OpenTelemetry
    • Distributed tracing
    • Structured logging
    • Monitoring and alerting frameworks

Architecture & Integration

  • Contribute to enterprise architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
  • Design REST-based and event-driven integration architectures.
  • Build scalable microservices and micro-frontend architectures.
  • Architect and implement:
    • Next.js App Router
    • Next.js Zones
    • Webpack Module Federation
    • Nx/Turborepo Monorepo environments
  • Define integration patterns supporting enterprise-scale workloads and cross-platform interoperability.

AI & Agentic Development

  • Design and build AI-native applications and workflows.
  • Implement AI-powered capabilities including:
    • Prompt Engineering
    • LLM API Integration
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    • AI-assisted business workflows
  • Leverage AI coding agents such as:
    • Claude Code
    • Codex
    • GitHub Copilot
    • Similar AI development tools
  • Utilize spec-driven development methodologies to guide both human and AI-assisted implementation.
  • Evaluate and operationalize AI models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and toolchains.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement secure software development practices suitable for regulated environments.
  • Design solutions incorporating:
    • OAuth 2.0
    • RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
    • Data Encryption at Rest and In Transit
    • Privacy Controls
    • Auditability Requirements
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor engineering teams through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Business, Implementation, and Client-facing teams.
  • Drive engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment, and operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • React.js
    • Next.js
    • TypeScript
    • JavaScript
  • Strong backend development experience with:
    • C#
    • ASP.NET Core
    • .NET
    • Web API
    • MVC Frameworks
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
  • Proven expertise with:
    • System Design
    • Design Patterns
    • Security Architecture
    • Scalable Distributed Systems
    • Performance Optimization
  • Experience working in highly regulated and compliance-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices and software architecture principles.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development methodologies and agentic development workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications.
