Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.

Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 500,000 patients worldwide.

  • Ensure all proposed solutions and associated technical documentation meet rigorous regulatory and security compliance standards, such as HIPAA and medical device requirements.
  • Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously audit and improve the efficiency of solution deployments.
  • Create clear process maps, policies, and training materials for technical teams
  • Drive adoption and governance of new standardized processes across Technical Operations, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Technical Leadership and Expertise

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) on technical concepts, providing expert guidance to both internal teams and customers.
  • Act as the technical voice of the field, communicating complex technical challenges and customer feedback to Engineering, Product, and InfoSec teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • Mentor cross-functional teams on the application of best practices and emerging technology trends.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in a technical customer-focused role, such as Solution Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting, within a SaaS or B2B technology environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
