Your Responsibilities
As a Software Tools Dev Engineer for JD Intelligent Solutions located in Torrance, CA, you will:• Develop and implement tools to support analysis of GNSS StarFire Receivers.• Support and implement Test Automation features for software test team.• Diagnose and solve software defects.• Analyze issues in a systematic, persistent, and thorough manner.• Execute and support software engineering test and verification of John Deere's line of GNSS StarFire receivers.• Understand GNSS concepts and fundamentals through tools development and automation work assignments.

What Skills You Need• 2 or more year(s) of experience with Matlab, Python and C/C++• 2 or more year(s) of experience with Web-design, HTML, CSS• 2 or more year(s) of experience with Databases, SQL, and SQL server Tools• 1 or more year(s) of experience with software development life cycle.• 1 or more year(s) of experience in test execution and reporting/tracking software defects• 2 or more year(s) of experience with GitHub, React JS, Node JS/NPM, MQTT, SQL, REST API• Experience working in a team environment with cross-functional teams• Strong software analytical skills; problem solving and conveying complex features/issues to engineers in other disciplines
What Makes You Standout• Experience with cloud services AWS and Microsoft Azure DevOps• Awareness of UI/UX principles• Must have strong reporting/presentation skills• Experience with Agile Development Methodology• Strong Experience in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:• Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering
