Job Description: 

Manages software engineering activities for a product, platform, solution, service, or group of products through one or more phases, including product definition and planning through execution, production, and end of life. Works closely with architects and product development teams across multiple engineering disciplines and/or software layers to evaluate the feasibility of requirements, validate product definitions, and resolve gaps to achieve engineering commitment with input from internal and external customers. Uses technical expertise, business acumen, and industry experience to formulate product strategies, identify new product opportunities, influence executive decisions, and align with program milestones. May serve as the central resource with development, testing, quality, sales, and/or marketing as the products move to production and distribution, including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the software product(s), platforms, or softwaredefined solutions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in scoping, prioritizing, and managing program requirements within a technical domain.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, hardware development, software programs, and/or technology platforms.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science) with 12+ years of experience in managing engineering projects and programs
  • OR Masters degree in relevant field with 8+ years of experience
  • OR PhD in relevant field with 6+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring teams and driving organizational growth.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to interface effectively with executives, stakeholders, and diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen to align program goals with organizational priorities.
  • Experience in applying innovative solutions and optimizing processes in engineering contexts.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $257,740.00-363,860.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
