Salesforce Inc.  seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:
 

Job Duties: Facilitate seamless communication between the Rackbot team and clientele. Collaborate with peer teams to align product goals.  Translate customer feature requests into actionable directives for engineering teams. Establish and communicate clear priorities to meet organizational objectives. Design and develop features for the company's infrastructure provisioning system. Implement distributed systems for workload distribution among active nodes.  Enhance microservices architecture for automated data center provisioning.  Assess the feasibility of software design within time and cost constraints. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. 
 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Networking Fundamentals; (2) GoLang; (3) Python; (4) DHCP; (5) Microservices architecture; (6) Splunk; (7) Kubernetes; (8) Terraform; (9) REST APIs; and (10) Distributed systems. 

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. 
 

Salary: $157,600.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $236,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
