Salesforce Inc.  seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Bellevue, WA:

Job Duties: Design and develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability. Influence and drive end-to-end solutions that help a cloud-scale data platform service remain highly available and operating with predictable performance. Lead, collaborate, communicate, and mentor others on the team and in the company. Work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver a roadmap to meet shared business goals. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Contribute to the success of the scrum team through code reviews, documentation, and refinement, planning, and retros. Troubleshoot issues with the applications and services that our team develops and owns. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) C#; (2) .Net; (3) PowerShell; (4) Microservice Architecture; (5) Relational Database; (6) REST API; (7) Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); (8) Object Oriented Programming; (9) Aspect Oriented Programming; (10) Kafka. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $190,486.00 - $216,700.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $190,486 to $216,700.
