Salesforce Inc.  seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features to deliver scalable and high-performance cloud computing platform. Code for back-end development of internal Salesforce infrastructure tools, to deliver features that enable Salesforce products to be deployed to Kubernetes clusters. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high quality software. Build innovative user interfaces, platforms to allow application development in the cloud, and infrastructure to support storage and processing of data. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves Salesforce.com. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or six (6) months of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) C; (2) Python; (3) Node.js; (4) Natural Language Processing; (5) MongoDB; (6) Machine learning; (7) Algorithms; (8) HTML, Javascript, and CSS. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Special skills may be gained through academic courses or work experience. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $157,600.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $236,500.
