Develop customer-facing cloud services and internal tools for high performance applications in the connected home, focusing on IoT technologies.
The Software Engineer III is responsible for developing customer-facing cloud services and internal tools to enable a range of new data driven high performance applications for the connected home. You will be working on a team that is one of the largest IoT Hub providers for smart TVs and other connected devices using all the latest technology such as Chatbots, Natural Language Understanding and Machine Learning.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy and refine a world-class cloud infrastructure and services at scale
- Design and develop tools to process large data sets with statistical algorithms, machine learning and data mining methodologies
- Build, deploy and optimize ML Models , pipelines, datasets and algorithms
- Collaborate with various team members to continuously improve the use of machine learning as it applies to our platform
- Translate product management and engineering plans into usable data questions
- Work with Data Infrastructure team in the design and architecture of an optimized database schema, architecture, queries, and complex stored procedures, for OLTP, OLAP and unstructured data services
- Must be able to assess scope and define timelines, plans, and roadmap
- Technical leader; professional, pragmatic and data driven decision maker. You have proven you can hire and build world-class engineering teams and operate in a fast-paced environment. You must know how to motivate and lead your team.
Qualifications
- 4 - 7 years of related experience
- Possess a strong technical background in cloud architecture and development and able to learn & apply new topics quickly and efficiently
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, and highly comfortable with C-Level interactions
- Proven track record to build and lead distributed development teams for a fast paced environment
- Full Stack Expert including solid hands on experience with Microsoft technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in Microsoft .Net (C#) and complementary business layer and front-end technologies including RESTful services, SOAP and JSON, HTML5, Angular, etc.
- Deep Learning/Machine Learning, Python and/or R, etc. knowledge
- Azure Machine Learning, Keras/TensorFlow is a strong plus
- Business Intelligence, Load Testing, and ETL tools is a strong plus
Educations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
